I am a Hornsea-based artist, painting mostly with oils on canvas or board. For several years I concentrated on painting portraits, and completed a commission for the Hull City of Culture 2017 of a series of 8 portraits of local notable individuals. Over the last couple of years I have diversified, trying my hand at still lifes and landscapes. Having recently relocated from Hull to Hornsea, I think I’ll probably be unable to resist the challenge of seascapes and coastal features.
