HAS SELF-PORTRAIT CHALLENGE
Our secretary, Steve Truelove, has set up a Self-Portrait Challenge for HAS members. Send your images to him at firstname.lastname@example.org by 30 April and see the images in the gallery on his website (stevetruelove.com).
In view of the latest recommendations issued by the government HAS has decided to POSTPONE the following workshops in the Hornsea Art Festival 2020.
John Harrison’s workshop on 21 March (‘Line & Wash – Less Can Definitely Be More’)
Miriam Laville’s workshop on 4 April (‘Creating from Natural Forms’)
Our chairman Phil Hargreaves will be contacting anyone who signed up for these workshops via email to inform them in more detail about the decision.
The workshop ‘Colours of the Coast – Acrylics’ and the 4 Hour Challenge by Glyn Macey on 9 an 10 May have been CANCELLED. (Glyn has cancelled his entire Round Britain’s Coastline charity project which was due to run until the end of the year).
The next scheduled HAS meetings/demonstrations on 17 April with Rose Horspool (‘The Yorkshire Wolds’ Secret Art Trail’) and with Glyn Macey on 8 May (‘The English Coast’) have also been CANCELLED.
The Hepworth Gallery Day Trip on 24 May is CANCELLED because the Hepworth Gallery is now closed.
HAS will be reviewing the situation as it develops and keep you updated.
