I paint mainly landscapes in a loose impressionistic style, enhanced by the texture and freedom of painting with a palette knife. I use mainly oils, inspired by my native Yorkshire, by my travels or my wildlife photography. I also use acrylics, often to capture the drama and spectacle of a sporting event.
I have exhibited in the UK and in France, winning awards at the Derby Arts Festival Exhibition and the Ferens Winter Exhibition in Hull. I am a member of East Riding Artists. The latest Virtual Art Exhibition of the Global Art Directory features my work on youtube.
