Portrait Studies & Oil Sketching From Life
Leeds based artist Peter Holt will demonstrate a range of materials, approaches and techniques for painting from life. The aim will be to focus on establishing the head and face, and developing the likeness and expression to achieve a bold, painterly representation of the sitter.Peter will lead you through the various stages of portrait painting from drawing and blocking-in, to developing the portrait further using more complex tones and colours.
