Indoor Art Workshop Day

Join me, Janet Thackray, for a day painting a Venice scene in the loose and colourful watercolour style of Cecil Rice (http://cecilrice.com). His paintings have a sense of drama and atmosphere with strong lights and shadows painted wet in wet.
Bring with you your usual paints and brushes (tubes of paint if you have them), a palette, a stretched piece of watercolour paper (no smaller than 11″ x 15″), some practice paper, and also your lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.
