October 10, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm£25
The aim of this workshop will be getting to know pigment characteristics and how to mix successfully at the first attempt without getting MUD!
We will explore the four elements which make up the word ‘colour’ – painting two colour wheels, one of pure, saturated colour and one subdued with de-saturated colour, plus other exercises.
I would like to know your problems regarding colour mixing, so if you can think about this and write down any questions you would like to ask me, we will start the day with a question/answer forum.
Bring your usual paints (you can work in acrylics or watercolour, whatever is your usual medium), palette for mixing, brushes, pencil, a pad or sheets of paper, and a packed lunch – drinks will be provided throughout the day.
If there are more than 8 people who want to come to this workshop, I will arrange another day for a second one. The first 8 people who contact me will be in the workshop on 10 October.
